Stephanie Hansen – PT, DPT, CSCS, CEAS

Stephanie graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in May 2012 from University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Campus. Prior to physical therapy school, Stephanie was in the marketing field and has a bachelor’s degree from University of California Berkeley in Economics and Statistics.
She was drawn to the physical therapy profession after rehabilitation following a shoulder injury from wakeboarding and tennis. The physical therapy profession complemented her passion for helping others and her active lifestyle.
Stephanie has extensive education in physical therapy including additional certifications as a functional dry needling practitioner, strength and conditioning specialist, and ergonomics assessment specialist. During her time with Peak Form Medical Clinic, she has supplemented training with courses in advanced exercise for the return to sport population and treatment of muscle trigger points with dry needling. Through multiple clinical affiliations in hospitals and outpatient clinics throughout the Denver Metro area, Stephanie gained extensive exposure to post-operative shoulder and knee conditions.
Originally from San Diego, California, Stephanie moved to Colorado in 2008. She loves exploring Colorado through outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, running, skiing, and snowboarding. In the winter, she can be found volunteering with Children’s Hospital Colorado and the National Sports Center for the Disabled teaching children with disabilities how to ski and snowboard at Winter Park Resort.
Stephanie’s confident and approachable personality makes her very popular with the patients. It is apparent that she cherishes her role as a physical therapist and is utterly dedicated to making a difference in the lives of each and every patient she encounters!
