Sarah Farley, CMT
Sarah moved to Colorado from Minnesota in 1987 and has been here ever since. After graduating with a B.A. in Business from Regis University in 1996, she went to work at Sun Microsystems and was there for 20 years. During that time, Sarah gained an interest in massage therapy and received her certification from the Center of Advanced Therapeutics in 2005. She later decided to pursue that field and become a full-time massage therapist. Sarah has found her love for helping people and decided to foster this in her Massage Therapy.
Sarah specializes in, but is not limited to: Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and NeuroMuscular Therapy. These techniques are employed throughout a session to find the best solution for each client. She communicates with her clients to ensure a comfortable, and effective session, while creating a safe and welcoming environment.
Since childhood, Sarah has been exposed to the world of medicine, as her mother and most of the female figures in her family are nurses. She has always been fascinated by the body and what it can do. She believes in the self-healing process, and also has an under- standing of what massage therapy can do to aid in the recovery of an injury.
As a competitive equestrian, Sarah injured her back while riding which led her to seek out therapeutic massage. Seeing both sides of recovery, Sarah is able to relate to her clients and understands the body’s ability to do its own healing.
When not providing massage, Sarah still enjoys riding horses along with spending her time outdoors hiking, snowshoeing, biking, and skiing. She with her husband, John. and their two kids travel for sports, go to the mountains, lounge at the lake, and spend time with friends.
