Jennifer spent her childhood years between the eastern shore of Maryland and Tucson, Arizona. Growing up she enjoyed playing soccer, rugby, riding horses and weekend trips to the beach. After high school she moved to Portland, Oregon where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Portland State University in 2017.
Her love for patient care grew through work and volunteer experience in multiple settings, first of which was an urgent care while in high school. During college, she worked as a research assistant in the psychiatry department at Oregon Health and Sciences University performing imaging and neuropsychological testing on children and adults with ADHD. When not in the lab, she volunteered with a neuroscience outreach group traveling to underfunded elementary, middle and high schools educating students on brain function and structure through art, music and presentations.
She moved to Colorado in 2018 for a change of scenery. She acquired her Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification from Front Range Community College in 2019 with hopes of getting hands on experience to further her career in healthcare.
She enjoys working closely with Peak Form Medical Clinic providers that enable her to build one-on-one relationships with patients and
continued learning when teaching opportunities arise. When not taking classes or working, Jennifer enjoys spending time outside,
whether that be skiing, hiking, backpacking or camping with her dog, Vera.
