Heidi was born and raised in Cloverdale, California, a small town located about an hour north of the San Francisco Bay Area. All throughout school, she took ballet classes for a total of 15 years and stayed active in the outdoors. She continued to teach ballet to 3 and 6-year-olds while attending community college as well, thoroughly enjoying passing on her knowledge to the next generation of little dancers
Heidi attended college at the northern end of California, at Humboldt State University, where she truly loved spending time outdoors on the California coast while she studied Sociology and Criminal Justice. She loved going on hikes in the Redwood forest and enjoyed the foggy, cool weather!
After she graduated college, Heidi lived in Orange County for a year until she was ready to start a new life somewhere outside of California. In 2014, Heidi joined her sister’s family in Colorado and enjoyed spending time with her nephew and niece. She quickly got a job at an Occupational Medicine clinic and loved working with doctors, physical therapists and their patients.
Heidi learned as much as she could about the Occupational Medicine Field, and became Drug Screen Certified and pursued leadership opportunities in the clinic. She continues to enjoy working on the administrative side of healthcare, and has obtained more experience and certifications with Peak Form Medical Clinic.
Heidi met her husband, a Hawaii native, shortly after moving into her own home. They had a beautiful Hawaii wedding in January 2018, but decided to stay in Colorado because it is such a great place to start a family of their own. They enjoy working on their home and yard together, taking walks outside, and traveling to visit family both in Hawaii and California.
