Brittany Lain, MS, APRN, FNP-C

Family Nurse Practitioner

Brittany grew up in Detroit, Michigan. She loved going to school, (really!) and playing with Barbies and American Dolls. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, from Marygrove College, Detroit MI. She loved learning about health and found courses such as anatomy, physiology, and psychology fascinating. This foundation ultimately led her to a career as a registered nurse, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, MI. After graduating, she worked as a RN supervisor in a skilled nursing rehabilitation facility and then moved to Colorado where she worked both as a RN generalist with Weld County Department of Public Health and as a tuberculosis nurse case manager at Denver Health’s, Denver Metro Tuberculosis Clinic. During this time, she was honored to receive an advanced practice nurse fellowship from the Colorado Center for Nursing Excellence, and went on to receive her Master of Science, Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specialization from Regis University in Denver. Brittany began her FNP career in the in-patient hospital setting at the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders by Denver Health, a nationally recognized center of excellence for severe and extreme eating disorders. Here, she was
challenged daily by complex and unique medical cases.

Brittany joined the Peak Form Medical Clinic team in 2019. This has provided her with the opportunity to make independent care management decisions while working with a diverse patient population from all walks of life. She especially enjoys the opportunity to establish meaningful relationships with her patients while delivering high-quality health care to those in the community where she lives and serves. When Brittany is not working, she manages a non-profit animal sanctuary, Reborn Animal Refuge, founded by her husband. They care for a variety of farm animal rescues, with the long-term goal to rescue exotic wildlife!
